The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is a themed parade of tens of thousands of vintage bikers from around the world. The parade aims to raise funds and awareness for men's health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer and suicide prevention. The DGR was created in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. He was inspired by a photo of Don Draper, a character from the TV show Mad Men, riding a motorbike while wearing his best suit. Mark decided that a themed parade would be a great way to combat the often negative stereotypes attributed to bikers, while connecting different communities together around one cause: men's health.
